2030 Agenda Partnership Accelerator

The 2030 Agenda Partnership Accelerator is an initiative aimed at accelerating effective partnerships in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The initiative is a joint effort of the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs and The Partnering Initiative, in collaboration with the UN Office for Partnerships, the UN Global Compact and the UN Development Coordination Office

The Partnership Accelerator offers direct partnership training support and advisory services to the Member States, UN entities, Resident Coordinators and UN country teams. The initiative fosters stronger collaboration between stakeholders and sectors at the national and global levels. The initiative also builds partnership skills and competencies by strengthening the capacity of relevant stakeholders to develop and implement partnerships for the SDGs.

The Partnership Accelerator offers a webinar series to all stakeholders, demonstrating how partnerships are critical to achieving the SDGs. Another key component of the initiative is national partnership workshops that offer training on the development of effective partnerships. The workshops are organized in collaboration with the UN Resident Coordinators in select countries: Maldives, Kenya, Samoa, the Caribbean, Mexico, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
