Media for Social Impact Summit

The United Nations Office for Partnerships, in collaboration with the PVBLIC Foundation and the United Nations Department of Global Communications, has been co-organizing the annual Media for Social Impact Summit at UN headquarters since 2014.

The Summit convenes between 300-400 executives from leading companies in the advertisement, media, marketing and journalism and UN officials to highlight the power of media to drive social change and strategize campaigns around global issues.

The event showcases innovative campaigns and ideas that promote social progress. The Summit invites UN representatives to outline how media can engage with the UN on advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Delegates participate in dynamic roundtables with UN officials to network and foster partnerships for promoting the 2030 Agenda and SDGs.
