Exhibition

Dates: 1 – 22 March, 2024

Location: Visitors Lobby, United Nations Headquarters, 405 E 45th St, New York, NY, 10017

From 1 to 22 March, 2024, "Portraits of Progress: Women Powering the Global Goals" – a special art exhibit – will be on display at the United Nations Headquarters. The exhibit will feature portraits and stories of women changemakers from around the world who are driving solutions to advance the SDGs.

Alongside each portrait, visitors can scan a QR code to listen to a message from the featured woman leader, who shares more about how she is working towards a particular Goal.

2024 marks the beginning of the second half of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. With only 15 per cent of the targets being on track, greater investments in women’s proven and innovative solutions could be pivotal to progress.

This exhibition was created by Vital Voices Global Partnership, a non-profit that invests in women leaders who improve the world. It is supported by the UN Office for Partnerships.

Contributing artists include Gayle Kabaker, Stef Wong, and Erin Robinson. The project editor is Vikki Loles.
