Conscious Fashion Campaign

The fashion industry is a powerful ally for our collective journey towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as it represents an important part of our economies. Given its scale and international reach, this sector has a great potential to drive collaboration and action across all SDGs.
To that end, UN Partnerships collaborates with the Conscious Fashion Campaign by providing guidance on SDG messaging and branding at their high-level events and initiatives. These events and initiatives bring together a coalition of leading global fashion industry conveners to accelerate global fashion industry action in support of the SDGs. Through advocacy, education, and engagement the Campaign has mobilized industry stakeholders to advance solutions for social, economic, and environmental change. The partners collectively represent over 800 annual events in 40 countries hosting 12.2 million industry attendees and 136,000 exhibiting fashion, textile and lifestyle businesses.
In collaboration with the PVBLIC Foundation, the Conscious Fashion Campaign and UN Partnerships also spotlights women entrepreneurs in the fashion industry driving social and environmental impact by showcasing their work in billboard and digital campaigns. With women receiving only 25% of news features globally, the campaign aims to increase media representation of women social entrepreneurs transforming fashion to scale their impact in support of the SDGs.
