Family Planning 2020
Rights-based family planning is a powerful intervention with ripple effects across the whole of society. When women are able to decide for themselves whether and when to have a child, they and their families have a better chance to thrive and prosper.
The United Nations Foundation’s Family Planning 2020 rapid response mechanism provides small grants to fund time-sensitive projects that increase access to contraceptives for women and girls.
In Kyrgyzstan, the project empowers women and girls by investing in rights-based family planning. In Indonesia, Family Planning 2020 develops an operative guideline for delivering contraceptive services in crisis situations.
